Michael Gralinski, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Gralinski has extensive management experience working for multiple pharmaceutical companies. His past responsibilities included directing product safety and toxicology operations, leading resolution efforts for issues involving drug discovery and development, as well as cultivating relationships with international colleagues throughout small and large pharma. He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacology at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Gralinski has given presentations on the field of safety pharmacology and cardiovascular toxicology in numerous international forums. In addition, he has been elected to numerous positions on the Safety Pharmacology Society Board of Directors—Treasurer, Vice President and President.
Elaine Tanhehco, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Tanhehco has over 10 years of experience with isolated heart preparations and various in vivo cardiovascular models, as well as expertise in a variety of in vitro techniques. After completing her Ph.D. in Pharmacology at the University of Michigan, Dr. Tanhehco proceeded to post-doctoral training in the Department of Pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Most recently, Dr. Tanhehco was Assistant Research Investigator at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, where she concentrated on cardiovascular pharmacology, specifically the pathophysiology and treatment of heart failure.
Peter Senese, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Senese has more than 20 years of operational experience in many industrial environments including contract research organizations and multiple pharmaceutical companies. He holds a B.S. in biology from Loyola University.
Before establishing CorDynamics, Mr. Senese was a Toxicology Operations Manager responsible for directing toxicologists and their managers, in-house scheduling and out-sourcing liaison functions with contract laboratories, and serving as Study Director and Study Monitor on many critical studies. An expert in GLP and OECD process engineering and computer validation, Mr. Senese is also an active member of the Society of Toxicology.
Jinbao Huang, Research Scientist
With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Huang is the lead surgeon responsible for conducting and or assisting all in-house studies. He has also published extensively in the field of cardiovascular pharmacology. Mr. Huang also maintains facility records and analyzes reports and cardiovascular data.
Doug Janssen, Research Associate
Mr. Janssen has worked in the pharmaceutical drug safety environment for more than 20 years, coordinating the design execution and reporting of numerous exploratory and GLP-compliant studies. A trained animal anesthesiologist, Mr. Janssen is a research technician responsible for the proper care and transport of animals. He also conducts and or assists with all in-house studies as well as maintains the laboratory and its equipment.
Melissa Fisher, Research Technician
A certified veterinary technician with years of experience working closely with veterinary staff to insure the proper care and use of laboratory subjects, Ms. Fisher conducts and assists with all in-house studies. Ms. Fisher also maintains the company’s archives and training files as well as coordinates sponsor and government inspections.
